Martha and Me

Ok so my dream is to bake in Martha Stewart's kitchen for a day. This is not a "Julie and Julia" thing. It is just a dream. I have no desire to bake my way through any of her recipe books. I would just like even an hour or so in her kitchen. Trust me I am aware there is some Martha hate out there. She appears tough and stand offish at times but, she is creative. No one can take that from her. Also I have tried some of her recipes and they are no fail. I have tweaked a few to my own liking but, she takes the cake(no pun intended) on many levels of baking and creativity. And by no means do I work for Macy's and am hired to promote her bake ware(another dream) but, it is pretty awesome. So from time to time on this blog there might be some Martha recipes and reviews of her bake ware. Looking forward to sharing!

C is for cookie...

This is my very first post and I am not sure what to say other than welcome...
I hope you will enjoy this journey of my business and baking, the ups and downs of an ever changing food industry.
I really believe that no matter how bad a day is cookies can make it better...a tall cold glass of milk and a good cookie can comfort the soul and let you know everything will be OK. That was the best part of my early elementary school years when the milk and cookies were past and there was a peace and contentment in the room. I am looking forward to sharing my newest creations...what works and what doesn't work and everything in between.
